Description

The Cranberry Glades Preserve in the Monongahela National Forest protects an unusual peat bog and associated flora typical of those found in extreme northern states or Canada, not southern West Virginia. Though visited in mid September, the bog was already showing some autumn color on the pretty and sunny day we visited.
